A Virgin Prostitute!

A-Virgin-Prostitute

A young and virile youth Roshan entered Mumbai, one of the metros of India as a maiden visitor. He heard the pluralistic life and busy area of Metro and, he had read fairly about prostitute neighborhood, and he was keenly infatuated to probe. The same evening his wily manoeuvere helped him to be introduced to beautiful blonde-haired lass of a very tender in age.

It was incredible to Rosahn. With the professional skill, the pros Chameli feigned love to fascinate Roshan. In due course of time, he became a fanatic visitor. Rosahn spoke to her his true love, vowed to liberate her from the shackles of leased bonds, and to marry her.

Chameli explained him about her gross income, and how nasty was prostitution. She never failed to tell him how cruel rogues were behind her. She advised not to be emotional, and she wished him an alternate deserving wife. She also explained him what great danger lied behind her as lashes and heavy kicks were sure dire consequences from her boss if this professional betrayal leaked out. She explained and said, “Don’t lose your head; I have already slept with hundreds of men. Restrict your movements, lest the pimps are watching you”.

Roshan was undeterred, even more to salvage her from the ill occupation, by the help of the cops. Every time Roshan visited Chameli, there were great souvenirs and some money for which Chamely was not pleased; the reason being Rosahn ought not to be victim of any calamity of her malevolent profession, including dreadful disease like AIDS, although she showed no signs of such threats but slowly showing a genuine love towards the boy.

Roshan’s attempt to retrieve Chameli from the brothel was no more a secret. The muscle men around her warned Roshan to be no more than a client, after all Chameli be a commodity for which Roshan felt it obnoxious. An almost fatal assault took place from hoodlum-infested neighborhood where Roshan was helpless and needed immediate medical attention. Chameli yelled and cried, “aap kiyoon mere pichay pade ho. Shama karo. Kitni bar kahoon aap math aaya karo, warna my bhi marjaoongi” (Why are you after me. Forgive me. How many a times I tell, “Do not come here”. Otherwise I too will die”)

The above story may be a fictions or a real.Based on such themes there are films made in different languages and in few countries. The message is the same that the girls driven by poverty are pushed to an unusual society with mal indignation and there must be a sort of rehabilitation.

Such poor women brought from mostly from rural areas, find immediate money and pleasure and forget the aftermath. It is doubtful and peculiar to think sex workers if they have husbands and children, the question of doubting do not arise at all. She will be one in hundreds to her husband, he feels happy about that, and existence of divorce will be minimal even if such things are there it makes no difference. But it could not be advocated to the mainstream of the public life.

The appropriate term for them is “Sex Worker”. There is an exhaustive work on this subject as indicated below:

Working girls : prostitutes, their life and social control / Roberta Perkins
ISBN 0 642 15877 0 Canberra, “Australian Institute of Criminology,

1991 (Australian studies in law, crime and justice series”)

It adds as under: “People have to realize that prostitution is a community service because it provides a definite service for a lot of men – and women, I might add – who would not have that outlet for their fantasies otherwise “To limit our subject I have the following queries:

1. Can Roshan marry Chameli? How many Roshans will join this posting?

2. Why some major faiths, object to marry a widow, divorcee and a whore as a piece of profanity. Are they bundling of bones to trashcans? Is it applicable to modern world?

3. Same faith has discussed sex freely in number of places in spite of a warning earlier not to commit adultery.

4. . Eg. Two daughters intoxicate their father and have sex with him to maintain the family progeny to get a male child born,

5. Are sex workers vulnerable for spreading AIDS?

6. Are the rehabilitative measures effective?

7. How best a country could minimise the sex workers population?

The article is written in good faith for a social reformation. The writer has no intention to damage any faith in any manner
