Lindsay Lohan, the American actress and pop music singer has paid her tribute to the sexy Hollywood platinum blond of yesteryears, Marilyn Monroe, by posing in the buff for the New York Magazine.
Way back in 1962, photographer Bert Stern shot a couple of photos of Marilyn Monroe, which are popularly known as ‘The Last Sitting.’ The pictures in The Last Sitting are famous because of obvious reasonsâ¦they were taken after/ during several boozy sessions â¦where the American sex-symbol is sleepy-eyed and naked, sips from a Champagne glass, romps erotically on a bed of white linens. Unfortunately, for all Monroe fans worldwide, she was found dead in her apartment apparently due barbiturate overdose after six weeks of the photo shoot.
Marilyn Monroeâs last much-talked about public appearance was in May 1962, where she sang her famous Happy Birthday song to then US President, John F. Kennedy at a televised party.
Great, way to pay a tribute to your idol Lindsay (she is apparently a huge Monroe fan, for that matter so am I), but I hope you take some lessons from Monroeâs troubled life and battle your personal demons by getting over your alcohol abuse.
