The American pop singer and actress Mandy Moore has refused to pose nude on screen, as she hates strangers to know what she looks like without clothes. The Dreamz star has got many such offers but she has turned down all of them due to the same reason.

She told the newspaper, USA Today :
It would be completely uncomfortable to walk down the street and know that the person passing by had seen me without my clothes on. I’ve turned down several roles where the producers or writers wouldn’t budge on that point.
On the other hand, she also has no plans to strip for a print publication. She doesn’t take posing nude a wrong thing for others but strongly feels that there are other ways also to be feminine, apart from being sexy and posing half-naked.
As a teenager, Moore got famous as just one of a string of singers to follow the lead set by Britney Spears and had mediocre success with her teen oriented albums.
In 2001, Moore was seen in The Princess Diaries, in a small role. By 2002 she had her first major lead in A Walk To Remember alongside ER actor Shane West. This year, Moore is scheduled to star in several films and also release a new album, Wild Hope.
