A new survey about’ Male Sexuality’ challenges conventional views

Understanding male sexuality can play an important role to help understand and strengthen the relations. Many psychiatrists and sex therapists have conducted online methods for determining the preferences of men in their sexual lives and their sexuality. In such cases, therapists have found out that they could gather more information through online methods than through closed clinical sessions. Different and unexplored sexual behaviors pertaining to men’s sexual life like masturbation, sexual fantasies, orgasm, sexual positions, and many other were revealed through these online methods. The surveys conducted online provided genuine, emotional, and surprising ideas, which are sure to challenge the conventional views of the therapists and psychiatrists.

The studies have further shown that the changes from conventional views to these latest ones have been brought about by the change in culture over the years. Therapists, to understand how they can modify relationships and avoid misunderstandings between couples, have further utilized the results of these studies.

The Complexity of Male Orgasm

Women consider men rather simplistic in their sex life; however, this is a wrong perception about men. Therapists who have conducted surveys have found that men, like women, have a sensitive sex life. In the survey that was conducted, about 68% of the men responded that they achieve orgasm every time they have sex. About, 50% of the group could clearly describe the feeling or emotions they were going through every time they had sex. They described their sexual experience a building up of tension initially, which is followed by an explosion, then they tend to be on the brink of pleasure and release and finally they lost control.

The First Experience

The first sexual experience is something, which is filled with anxiety, dread, hope, and many others. In the survey when asked the question as to what their first sexual experience was, 57% confided on their high level of anxiety, 10% confided that they were a complete failure in the bed and another 50% had premature ejaculation. Another group, which was so stressed by the complexity and tension of the situation, were unsure of themselves. To the question as to what their after sex experience was many responded with stress, surprise and even guilt.

In case of couples, women still find it offensive that their partners use pornography or other means to stimulate themselves. The interesting fact is that about 80% of the men who underwent the survey agreed to this. However, in case of men masturbation is a major stress reliever.
