Closer, a French magazine that published topless photographs of Duchess of Cambridge is in for a big problem. Prince Williams and Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge have decided to sue the French magazine that has landed Kate in seemingly difficult situation.
Vacation that went haywire
The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate was on a private visit with her husband Prince Williams to France, when the unsuspecting Duchess of Cambridge was photographed. The topless pictures were taken when she was on the terrace of a guest house. The chateau is owned by Lord Linley, one of the queens nephews.
The legal course
The royal couple has not taken the incident lightly and are initiating legal action against the French publication. Legal procedure has been initiated in France and the royal couple is consulting its lawyers in London too.
Closer’s reaction
However, the editor of Closer, Laurence Pieau seems unfazed with the controversy. As per Laurence, the pictures are not disturbing as millions of similar pictures of women sunbathing topless are published the world over.

Closer published 4 pages of topless pictures of the Duchess of Cambridge and the move is being considered a gross violation of privacy of an individual.

The royal couple has put up a brave face, though they are highly disturbed with this unlikely development. Williams and Kate have continued with their private visit and have continued with the holiday trip that will take them to Malaysia, Solomon Islands, Singapore and Islands of Tuvalu.
The current incident is being considered as a reminiscent of press and paparazzi that made waves during life and times of Princess Diana. However, the brave face that the royal couple has put up will enable them to enjoy their current vacation, not withstanding the current controversy.
