William Lepeska made quite a few headlines while stalking Anna Kournikova. He swam naked across Biscayne Bay to meet the tennis star. The crazy fan was caught nude wandering around Kournikovaâs Miami Beach house. Finally, Lepeska was arrested and ordered to stay away from the entire neighborhood.
2. Tom Jones
During one of his Welsh tours, Tom Jones encountered the most traumatizing aspect of bizarre fan following. He was there on the stage in Swansea performing “Its Not Unusual” and women were screaming and throwing their underwear on the stage.
Suddenly then something dirty and rancid-smelling landed on his face that left him unconscious for a few minutes. As the singer tells it, âit was an extra-large pair of men’s y-fronts! They were in bloody disgusting condition too, boyo! There were huge skid marks all down the back, and weird yellowish stains down the front – some were still damp!”
The worst was still to come: Tom had just started to swing with his popular number âSex Bomb,â and then yet again something unbelievably sickening hits his face. It was âan extra large condom full of stale jism,â recalls the star.

3. Rob Lowe
Actor Rob Lowe used to be constantly followed by a young girl everywhere he traveled. She would break into his hotel room and hide in his bed, and then when the actor would enter the room, she would start stripping naked, dancing and jumping in front of him. She also used to film the actorâs confused reaction on discovering her later. Apparently, she sold those tapes to press later. “The lawsuits he had to suffer as a result of them selling the tapes to the press – it could easily have ruined his career,” says a legal representative.
4. Britney Spears
It started off decently with respectable letters being sent only once a week. Soon larger packages replaced the letters and were sent two or three times a week. Huge boxes, which always contained all wacky and disturbing stuff like battery-operated sex toys and two terrifying pornographic letters. A five-page letter telling about writerâs pornographic details and his wild fantasy to exploit the pop queen. The most threatening part was kept for last in the box: a picture of a rough looking middle-aged Caucasian male gulping some yellowish liquid â apparently it was the stalker himself. Thankfully, Britneyâs security handled the matter well and referred it to FBI or else it could have had deadly impact on the mental status of the still-recovering Britney.
5. Gwyneth Paltrow

Pizza deliveryman by occupation, Dante Michael Soiu, used to send a pizza, five letters, flowers, candies and packages containing stuff of a pornographic nature, every day to the Bounce star. The obsessed fan had left the Oscar-winning actress terrified to the core. He also showed up at her parentsâ house several times.
He asserted when convicted of stalking her that he loved the actress unconditionally. However, his presence horrified Paltrow and the aghast actress admitted that Danteâs attention used to give her nightmares and she felt sexually assaulted.
6. Harvey Keitel
Harvey Keitelâs stalker also started off taking an innocent approach but ended off the wall.
At first, Harvey was welcomed with cute gifts – rabbits, apple pies, which she used to leave for him on his front step. The drama went on for a few days but then one morning when Harvey opened the door, he got shocked and disgusted at the sight. She had left a coke bottle full of her own piss on the doorstep.
7. Ken Dodd
Itâs not always the glamorous celebrities who attract stalkers. 76-year-old comedian Ken Dodd also happens to be stalked badly by an obsessed female fan, Ruth Tagg. Dodd found himself bombarded with offensive photographs and the wackiest of stuff, like a perfumed dead rat. She also attempted to burn down Doddâs house by pushing burning rags through the letterbox.
When the psychotic fan later surrendered to harassment and arson charges, she said, âThank you my Lord. I am very grateful.â
