There are no full stops to stories of sexual exploitation in the country. In a shocking revelation of a sex scandal, the children of an orphanage in Hyderabad have accused its founder, Malyadri, of sexually exploiting them.
The institution came under the cloud of alleged sexual abuse when a raid conducted by the city police discovered 11 girls blaming Malyadri of exploiting them sexually. Home to almost 140 students, Siria Orphanage Home, on the outskirts of Hyderabad, was started in 2006.
During the raid the girls revealed to the police that the founder used to call them at night during late hours and touch them. He also threatened them if they disclosed anything to the police or others.
The girls have now been sent for a medical examination.
Meanwhile, Malayadri, who is charged for outraging the modesty of a woman, says that he is being framed by those are jealous of him. He is on record saying that he was running this orphanage as my own family.
The accused has been remanded to 14 days judicial custody. The students meanwhile are too shocked to even attend their classes while the orphanage has been placed under government’s care till further orders.
