Stress is a sperm-devouring tool, studies say

Stress has quite often been linked to poor performance, be it on official level or personal level. However, when it comes affecting personal relations, then certainly it’s an ALARMING BELL! After all, all your maneuvers for physical comforts, monetary gains is for a comfortable life, but when your bedroom starts glowering at you, then certainly it sounds like death-knell, isn’t it?

Now here comes a new research conducted by researchers in Italy, which found out that men dealing with high levels of short and long term stress, tension or anxiety ejaculated less semen and have low sperm count. The researchers reached the conclusion that stress and anxiety may represent a significant factor involved in male fertility. Scientific studies conducted in this connection have reached a conclusion that an average person produces approximately 52 million sperm per milliliter of semen. However, men seeking fertility treatment just produce approximately 29 million sperm per milliliter of semen. Though it’s not the first study linking stress with poor sexual health, as many studies conducted earlier on his issue have confirmed the same. Interestingly, long ago Ayurveda has also co-related these two.

However, in the present scenario, the outcome of the previously mentioned study has somewhat more relevance. With each one of us daily stumbling across hosts of issues, we do our level best to emanate stress – one way of the other – be it on job front, family issue, children study, legal matters, property matters or anything else.
