Where do People Have the Most Sex

Where do people have the most sexual partners?

Bradley University did a study with the objective of answering that question. 14,000 people across 48 countries took part in the survey. Participants were asked seven question: how many sexual partners in the past year? how many one-night stands have you had? is sex without love acceptable or sex with casual partners? ect…

From their answers, researchers compiled an index. The report shows that certain Europeans are the most promiscuous, in contrast conservative countries in African and Asia record lower levels.

Men are more promiscuous in their twenties, while women in their thirties when chances of a pregnancy resulting from casual sex are less likely.

The list (the plenary list can be found in the linked study, these are just a few nations):

1) Finland
2) New Zealand
3) Slovenia
8) Israel
10) Argentina
11) Britain
13) Germany
14) Netherlands
15) Morocco
19) Brazil
21) Australia
22) United States
23) France
24) Turkey
29) Italy
37) Philippines
43) Japan
45) Zimbabwe
47) Bangladesh
48) Taiwan

I do not believe this study to be accurate. I think one key methodological flaw is the omission of the question of whether any sexual partners were prostitutes. I can guarantee you that in Islamic Morocco men – let alone women – do not have more non-hired sexual partners than, say, Brazil or the United States. Men in the Middle East are incredibly sexual frustrated – I know this from personal experience in my travels to Tunisia and how men there are desperate for sex and how rare it is to get non-paid for sex – and they do not have more partners than individuals in countries placed below Morocco. Not surprised that a Scandinavian nation is first, though.
